Early years
Originally from Porirua, I moved to Hamilton at the age of 16, where I completed my education and began my working life. After several years in the workforce, I embarked on a four-year overseas experience, enjoying many adventures and gaining valuable life experiences along the way.
Career before the clinic
On returning to New Zealand, I settled back in Hamilton and built my career with two large agricultural companies. My final role in Hamilton was as HR Manager for Federated Farmers, a position that combined my passion for people and organisational development.
At the clinic
A move to Kawakawa Bay to be with my partner opened an exciting new chapter, and I was fortunate to secure a part-time administration role at the Kawakawa Bay-Orere Health Clinic. It’s a role I thoroughly enjoy, and being able to contribute to the local community is especially rewarding.
Life in Kawakawa Bay
Kawakawa Bay is a community to be proud of, with its strong sense of support and neighbourly spirit. We love living here, and I have to admit that a one-minute commute to work is a pretty great bonus!
