About our clinic

A predominantly rural, nurse-led clinic run by a voluntary committee for our local community.

Our story

Our clinic has been caring for local families for over 40 years. We are volunteer supported and community funded – and we couldn't do it without you. The clinic committee diligently raises funds for provision of clinic services and oversees management to provide the best service possible for Kawakawa Bay, Ōrere Point and surrounding areas.

We are staffed by local registered nurses working part-time. St John operates the First Response Team in our community. We need your support to maintain the standards we hold for the clinic.

Each year the committee sets a fundraising target to help bridge the gap between running costs and available funding.

Our team

Local registered nurses and clinic staff serving Kawakawa Bay, Ōrere Point and surrounding communities.

The nurses are registered ACC providers and most are authorised independent vaccinators. They all maintain a high level of professional development and training.
